  • Glycerin (Rita Glycerin USP/Glycerin)
  • 5.00
  • Diocide (Centerchem, Inc.)
  • 0.70

Phase B

  • Sodium Hydroxide (10%)
  • q.s to pH 5.5-6.0

Phase C

  • Drenalip (Manufactured by Provital S.A., Exclusive North American Distributor: Centerchem, Inc.)
  • 3.00

Phase D

  • Xanthan Gum (Keltrol CG-RD/CP Kelco)
  • 0.40

Phase E

  • Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate (Dry Flo Pure/National Starch)
  • 2.00
  • Cyclopentasiloxane & Dimethiconol (Dow Corning 1401 Fluid/Dow Corning)
  • 1.00

Procedure

  1. Disperse the Carbopol in water, mix until fully uniform.
  2. Add remaining Phase A ingredients. Mix until uniform.
  3. Adjust pH to 5.5-6.0 with NaOH solution.
  4. Add Drenalip.
  5. Add xanthan gum, mix until uniform.
  6. Mix in Phase E ingredients, one at a time. Mix until uniform and discontinue.
